About the Captain
Born and raised on Hatteras Island, Captain Shaun Dunn has been living and working on the water all his life. In his teens, he helped his dad on the family's commercial boat, and continued to work as a mate and captain on different vessels over the years. He completed college in Wilmington, NC, and later became a Cummins diesel repair mechanic as well as a Yamaha and Suzuki Technician. In 2020, he moved back to Hatteras and began mating on the Harper's Folly, and bought the boat from retiring captain, Tom Harper. The two worked together through the charter season as Shaun began renovations to the boat. After making many upgrades, and with Shaun now the acting captain, the boat has officially become the Dunn Deal!
About The Boat
The Dunn Deal is a custom-built, 42' Ocean Yacht with twin-diesel Cummins engines. It's rigged with top-of-the-line electronics and safety equipment. The boat covers all bait and tackle and is licensed to carry up to 6 passengers. Most recent improvements and upgrades include:

What to Bring
While Dunn Deal covers all licenses, bait, and tackle, here are a few things you'll want to bring along for the day:
